Downtown El Segundo has a new pizza spot, and it comes with a Hollywood pedigree.

EZPZ Pizza & Soft Serve opened at 321 Main St. after a soft opening on Thursday, June 18, followed by a grand opening party on Sunday, July 5. The party featured free slices, organic soft-serve, and raffle giveaways, according to an Instagram post promoting the event. The shop sells pizza by the slice alongside organic soft-serve ice cream, built around a 48-hour slow-fermented dough made with California-sourced, high-protein flour.

EZPZ was co-founded by husband-and-wife team Beau Flynn and Marley Shelton Flynn. Beau Flynn is a film producer whose credits include "San Andreas," "Rampage," and "Hercules." Marley Shelton Flynn is an actress. The couple announced the concept on the shop's Instagram account on Thursday, May 1.

Running the kitchen is Chef Scott Tremonti, described on the company's website as an experienced pizzaiolo who spent decades refining his dough technique. The site says EZPZ's dough uses organic, high-protein flour sourced in California and ferments for 48 hours before baking.

Hours listed on Yelp as of July 2026 show the shop open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., with Tuesday listed as closed. Full weekly hours have not been confirmed.

The opening adds to a busy summer stretch for El Segundo's Main Street corridor. The Hello Gundo newsletter, published Wednesday, July 8, flagged EZPZ's opening alongside World Cup viewing parties at more than a dozen local bars and restaurants, with SoFi Stadium hosting a quarterfinal match on Friday, July 10, just three miles away.

EZPZ isn't stopping at one location. The company's website lists a second shop coming in fall 2026 at 12824 Ventura Blvd. in Studio City, taking over a former Starbucks space.

No El Segundo city permit or business license for the Main Street location appeared in publicly searchable records.
