A free two-day Oktoberfest takes over the King Harbor parking lot in Redondo Beach on Saturday, Sept. 26, and Sunday, Sept. 27.

The King Harbor Association is putting on the event at 207 N. Harbor Dr., in the lot between Riviera Mexican Grill and California Surf Club. Gates open at noon and close at 7 p.m. both days.

The association is billing the weekend as "Harbor Vibes & Bavarian Bites," according to its event page. The lineup includes live music both days, German-inspired food, and beer and wine for guests 21 and older.

Families will find a dedicated kids area and games. A "Local Spotlight" section gives King Harbor businesses a chance to meet attendees.

The association promoted the event on Instagram on Sept. 9, describing it as a chance for harbor merchants to turn the parking lot into an Oktoberfest party. Specific band names and a full food vendor list have not been announced.
