Runners, walkers and leashed dogs will take over the Strand on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026, when Culture Brewing hosts its annual Bier-to-Bier Run, a 4-mile out-and-back from the Manhattan Beach Pier to the Hermosa Beach Pier.
Check-in opens at 9:30 a.m. at Culture Brewing's tasting room at 327 Manhattan Beach Blvd. The run kicks off at 10:30 a.m.
Tickets cost $25 and include a pint before the run, a pint at the finish line, a temporary tattoo and access to a post-run party featuring food, pitchers and hard seltzer slushees at the brewery. Five dollars from every ticket sold goes to the HIT Living Foundation, a Los Angeles-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that rescues abandoned and neglected dogs domestically and internationally. The organization was founded in 2018.
The brewery announced the event on Instagram on Aug. 5, describing it as a chance to get outside and celebrate with great beer and great people. Dogs are welcome. Costumes are encouraged.
The run falls during the AVP Manhattan Beach Open, which is scheduled for Aug. 14–16 according to the event listing, so expect the Strand to be packed with beach volleyball fans alongside the runners.
No road closures are planned. All participants run at their own risk.
Tickets are available at culturebrewingco.com/ticketed-events.
